Corporation was started in Midland, Texas. Designed to serve as a Construction Consulting/Service Organization to support the large number of contractors relocating to the Permian Basin during the boom times. Most contractors moving to West Texas during this era were specialty contractors who were relocating from other parts of the US. Their staff usually consisted of the Principal and a small staff of lead people, but no support staff. We offered services such as office space, bookkeeping, estimating, bonding assistance, expediting, etc. Megatrend relocated to Dallas in 1984. Clients included some Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE).
