The "first annual" Circle City 20th Century Design Show was held at the fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. Amidst great hopes for a community coming together to purchase modern design, 55 dealers offered their modernist goods at this inaugural show promoted by Jenkins Management. Being a new show during a sluggish economy, reviews were mixed about the attendance and sales, but clearly there were great things offered and hidden treasures to be found.
